Carving out creativity and community
Welcome to the Bundaberg Woodworkers Guild – where creativity meets craftsmanship. Our community guild offers a range of woodworking including woodwork, woodturning, scroll sawing, and pyrography. Join us in celebrating the art of woodworking and taking your skills to the next level.
Our History
The Bundaberg Woodworkers Guild was founded in 1989 with a mission to encourage the use of timber in a positive way.
Replant, Regrow, Reuse
At the Bundaberg Woodworkers Guild, we’re more than just a community of woodworking enthusiasts – we’re also dedicated to preserving the environment and promoting sustainable practices. Since the early 1990s, we’ve been growing a range of trees at the Botanic Gardens as part of our commitment to replanting, regrowing, and reusing. Our forest area at the Botanic Gardens serves as a space for us to grow our own trees for cutting as part of our club activities. Through this process, our members learn about where their wood comes from and what it looks like in its natural state. Join us in our mission to promote sustainable woodworking practices in Bundaberg.
Over 80 Local Woodworkers
We’re proud of our community of over 80 local woodworking enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, our guild welcomes everyone who shares our passion for this craft. We offer workshops, demonstrations, and resources to support our community of woodworkers. Join us and become part of our growing community of woodworking enthusiasts – we have something for everyone.
100% Committed
Our commitment to fostering a community of woodworkers sets us apart, making us more than just a woodworking guild, but a place where you can connect with like-minded individuals, explore your creativity, and build lasting friendships. Join us and experience the art of woodworking in Bundaberg.
